It Starts With an idea
About Me
I’ve always been drawn to stories. The kind that keep you up too late, turning pages under a dim light, needing to know what happens next. Crime fiction has been a constant in my life, not just for the twists and tension, but for the characters who live in the margins: flawed, determined, and human. Writing, for me, is about more than solving a mystery. It’s about building people you can root for, get frustrated with, and hopefully fall a little bit in love with. I want my stories to feel real: the quiet obsessions, the moral gray zones, the weight of memory. I try to write with empathy, curiosity, and a healthy dose of grit. If you’re here, I’m guessing you love a good mystery too. Whatever brought you here, I’m glad it did and I hope the stories you find offer something that lingers.
Thanks for walking the dark roads with me,
—Dale
